Wow! Until now, I didn’t realize just how long has it been since I wrote anything. Autocratech hasn’t been updated in some time and even the Medium page is all old and dusty. It happens folks when one makes a major life-altering decision. Mine was to step out of content industry as a creator for others and focus on doing what I love – engage with people. Trust me, that realization took its own time to come to me.
You see, when I was working as a full-time content creator, it was all relatively easy-peasy. All I had to do was push myself a bit more. Rest everything was in place. Now, my schedule is so crazy that I am unable to catch up with latest developments in auto and tech industries. Well, I had to turn around that shortcoming before I could start writing. That’s exactly what I did first.
Looking at the launches in auto and tech industries this year, I was left wanting for more. That’s not because the launches weren’t awesome. They were great alright, but still something felt missing. I looked back in time and saw what I missed. To my surprise, I found out my taste in things had changed. Allow me to unravel the story.
Last year, I had saved some money in taxes. I used that money to get a set of wireless earphones and haven’t used a wired unit since. When I stepped into my new life as a fitness trainer, an unexpected thing happened. An asphalt drop severely damaged my phone and I was handed a device I never wanted.
For more than a month now and for the forseeable future, a bicycle has become my saving grace. Zero expense on fuel, maintenance, and lost time in traffic are some benefits I am reaping. My crazy schedule, which hasn’t allowed me to work out for more than a month, has been offset by my bicycle.
The cherry on top is the fact that I am not writing on a borrowed machine anymore. I have a dedicated machine now to write for Autocratech and Medium (thanks bro for this lifeline). How has all this changed my taste in things? To know about that, you’ll have to keep coming back to Autocratech.
Please bear with my absence till May. I have a lot of ground to cover in a short amount of time. I assure you of two things – (a) Autocratech will be back in business of helping you as much as it can, and; (b) I am working on a little surprise for you which I will reveal real soon. I hope I am not asking for too much here, am I?
Thank you for being the lovely audience that you are. I couldn’t ask for more!
